The successful applicants will perform the following duties:
- Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing wind turbines to conform with regulations and safety standards
- Inspecting wind turbine components to ensure equipment is not damaged or faulty
- Inspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and setting operations
- Undertaking activities such as cleaning, greasing and painting wind turbine components where required
- Performing troubleshooting
- Completing of required reports on tasks undertaken
- Completing of site specific construction or maintenance works as required by Professional Wind Services or the client
- Complete Quality Assurance (if required)
- Undertake additional supervisory roles (for applicant with appropriate experience)
The successful applicants must have:
- A Diploma or higher in an Electrical Engineering Technician background, or at least three years of relevant experience in the wind industry
- Current GWO Certificate (with a minimum of 6 months validity, or willingness to obtain)
- White Card
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
- Great people/communication skills and able to work in a team
