Engineering Maintenance Role
We are seeking multiple reliable individuals to join our Engineering team at a hotel in Adelaide. The ideal candidates will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance and general repairs across guest rooms, corridors, and hotel facilities.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out scheduled maintenance and general repairs
* Perform minor repairs and upkeep to ensure all areas are safe, functional, and visually appealing
* Ensure guest rooms and public areas are in excellent condition and fully operational prior to guest arrival
* Identify and promptly report any safety hazards, damages, or urgent maintenance issues to the Engineering team
* Communicate clearly when receiving tasks and provide timely updates on job progress or concerns
* Follow up and close out all maintenance jobs within expected timeframes
* Take initiative and act quickly to resolve issues before they impact the guest experience
* Support the Engineering Department with special projects and other assigned tasks
* Collaborate with other departments when required, contributing to a cohesive work environment
