Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? Camp Australia is looking for Casual Educators to join our team in Palmerston. You’ll be at the heart of the fun and learning, supporting children before school, after school, and during school holidays. The role includes an extra 10% on top of your award hourly rate through the ECEC Worker Retention Grant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
- participate in daily activities and support children’s growth, learning and development.
- Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

About You
- Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
- You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability between 7:00 am-9:00 am and 2:30 pm-6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
