Brisbane BMW is seeking a motivated and hands‐on Assistant Service Manager to support the daily operations of our Service Department. This is a frontline leadership role working closely with the Service Manager and Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow, exceptional customer experiences and strong operational performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems in real time, and supporting a high‐performing service team in a premium brand environment.
What you'll be doing
* Support the Service Manager with the day‐to‐day running of the service department
* Act as a key point of contact for Service Advisors, providing guidance, support and escalation management
* Assist with service flow control, vehicle scheduling, and workload prioritisation
* Help manage customer issues and escalations, ensuring timely and professional resolution
* Support consistent service standards, quality control and delivery timeframes
* Assist with staff coverage, peak period coordination and operational stability
* Contribute to achieving productivity and financial targets
What we're looking for
* Experience in an automotive service environment
* Strong understanding of service operations and customer service processes
* Confident communicator who can support, coach and influence Service Advisors
* Calm under pressure with a practical, solutions‐focused mindset
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* A hands‐on leader who enjoys being visible and involved on the floor
