We are actively recruiting for an awesome Diploma Qualified Assistant Educator to join our team at Avenues Early Learning Centre- Kimberley Park. This role requires a commitment to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated individual who shares our commitment to nurturing young minds through hands-on experiences and creative outdoor education. We are seeking a highly motivated Educator with knowledge and experience within the Early Childhood Education sector.
You would bring the following
- Must have a minimum Diploma ECE
- Extraordinary relationship skills – exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Child Protection
We are looking for educators who have
- Understanding children and their needs - knowledge of early childhood development
- Experience in working with children and demonstrating responsive practices that meet children's individual needs & routines
- Emphasis on creating and maintaining learning environments that are physically safe yet promote a challenge to support well-being and development
- Ability to assist Lead Educator in planning and implementing well-structured, age-appropriate learning goals and programs
- Self-motivated to engage in professional learning opportunities to improve practice
- Experience in working collaboratively with a team to strive toward excellence
- Meet professional ethics and conduct responsibilities
- Establish and maintain respectful collaborative partnerships with families
