Our Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) team provides a full range of capital and financing solutions to clients across Funds Management and Wealth Management. These include acquisition funding, working capital, fund leverage, capital call facilities and bank guarantees.
Your impact and contribution
As an Associate, you’ll work in a high performing team, supporting Senior Bankers across complex transactions in the Global Funds, Asset Management & Wealth Management space.
You will be involved in various aspects of portfolio management and deal related activity including preparation of pitch packs, financial modelling, preparation of information materials, portfolio review and client due diligence.
Do work that matters
You will play a key role in providing client, transaction and operational support to Senior Bankers across the customer lifecycle, responsibilities include:
- Supporting Bankers in covering and servicing the needs of our clients including, for complex transactions, operational requirements and day-to-day enquiries across the client lifecycle
- Working as part of a Deal Team over the lifecycle of a deal to support and drive documentation, execution, establishment, settlement and in-life maintenance processes
- Preparing annual credit reviews and provide analytical and credit related support in preparation of credit applications for new transactions.
- Stakeholder management through liaising with customers, product partners, credit risk teams and other stakeholders as required
- Collecting client information to facilitate and support the Know Your Customer ‘KYC’ on boarding process for new clients and the KYC review process for existing clients
- Performing portfolio monitoring activates such as breach management and other reporting and liaise with credit risk where required
- Inputting and maintaining client, credit and transaction data and ensure data accuracy and quality across systems.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or law related discipline
- 1-3 years’ experience in institutional, business banking, chartered accounting or banking middle office with a strong customer service focus
- Possess an understanding of risk management and credit risk issues and have demonstrable critical thinking, research and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of the Bank’s systems and processes would be well regarded but not essential.
