The Role

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Dry Fire Technician / Electrician to join our Brisbane Fire Team, based out of Mansfield, to assist with our Dry Fire Service Delivery.
In this role, you will be tasked with installing, maintaining, testing, repairing, programming and commissioning Fire Alarm & Detection Systems, Emergency Warning Systems, Emergency Lighting and other equipment within your license scope.
You will work closely with the Service team across a variety of sites, including commercial and industrial properties, offices, retail, aged care, schools and more, completing mandatory preventative maintenance, defect repairs and minor works projects.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Relevant Cert III Trade Qualification and QBCC Occupation Licensing (Electrician Qualification Ideal)
- Experience with Fire Electrical maintenance, repairs, installations, fault-finding and programming
- High level programming and fault finding highly regarded
- Experience quoting, project managing and optimising Minor Works projects (ideal)
- Highly developed communication and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Project / Install experience highly regarded – potential to evolve into a leading hand role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a pleasant phone manner
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and office-based databases
- Current Driver’s License
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
