Key Business Partner Role

This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to work closely with operational and corporate teams across our gold mining activities, contributing to strategic financial insights and robust reporting frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with key stakeholders to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
* Lead and execute end-of-month reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.
* Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger reconciliations.
* Reconcile stock models and ensure alignment with operational data.
* Provide financial oversight and analysis of mine capital expenditure, rehabilitation provisions, and amortisation schedules.
* Maintain a strong understanding of gold mill accounting practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline with a major in Accounting or Finance.
* Full professional membership with CA ANZ or CPA Australia.
* Significant experience in the mining industry, preferably within gold operations.
