Director of People Operations
This role involves leading people operations from first hello to first day to first promotion. Responsibilities include building the team, creating a magnetic candidate experience, designing onboarding & training, being the culture keeper, and handling people operations & administration.
* Build the team end-to-end: workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, offers, contracts, and employment checks.
* Create a compelling candidate journey: transparent, engaging, efficient, and genuinely attractive.
* Design onboarding programs: help new hires feel confident, connected, and ready to deliver exceptional service.
* Be the culture custodian: rituals, recognition, communication, engagement—making sure our values show up daily.
* People operations & administration: HR systems, compliance, employee files, scheduling support, letters, reporting, and all the detail work that keeps the engine running smoothly.
* Partner with leaders: coach department heads on recruitment, performance, feedback, and team development.
* Support the pre-opening process: timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, and readiness plans—bringing order to beautiful chaos.
