About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced SMP Piping Supervisors and SMP Mechanical Supervisors to join our construction team on a project-based role at Yatala, on a 10-4 roster.
Applicants must complete and pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol, and audio testing as part of the process.
Benefits include:
* Site Allowance - $2.00 per hour
* Interstate Allowance - $2.00 per hour
* RDO accrual
* 17.5% Annual Leave loading
Key Duties:
* Supervise and manage the installation, maintenance, and inspection of structural, mechanical, and piping systems.
* Ensure all work complies with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project milestones.
* Review contracts and develop methodologies and staffing plans.
* Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
* Liaise with personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to execute work efficiently.
* Inspect ongoing work for quality and schedule adherence.
* Develop QA documentation in line with contract requirements.
* Support project management and prepare reports.
* Maintain knowledge of industry standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
* White Card
* Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or related trade
* Strong leadership skills
* Adaptability and problem-solving abilities
* Minimum 5 years' experience in mining and industrial infrastructure
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
* Effective time management and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software
* Current Driver's License and OHS White Card
* Experience on a mine site is desirable
