Job Overview
Oaks Resort Port Douglas is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic team in one of Tropical North Queensland's most iconic resort destinations.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Food and Beverage operations across the resort, ensuring excellent service standards, team development, and financial performance.
* Lead daily operations of the F&B department including restaurant, bar, functions, and events
* Manage staffing, rostering, training, and team performance
* Drive profitability through effective procedures and reporting
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and service standards
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
* Adapt quickly to the seasonal nature of the region while maintaining consistent quality
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in an F&B leadership role, preferably within a hotel/resort
* Strong understanding of budgets, P&L, and financial controls
* Exceptional communication and team management skills
* A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, seasonal environment
* Hands-on, operational focus with attention to detail and guest satisfaction
