About the role
As a Care Worker supporting clients in the Currabubula NSW and surrounding areas, you will be part providing quality care and support to clients in their own homes.
Responsibilities
You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.
What do we need from you?
* You will be a fluent speaker in English and, in addition to home services, be willing to provide weekly social support in a group community setting.
* You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients.
* You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
* You will have a Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check: A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required to ensure the candidate is eligible to work with individuals in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
* You will have a valid police check clearance
* You will have Current Certifications in CPR and First Aid
