The ideal candidate for this position will have a trade background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, with at least 5 years of experience in locomotive/rolling stock maintenance on site.
The selected individual will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interface with customers and internal stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical skills and be able to interpret data to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
* Daily review of locomotive fleet performance, acting as the primary interface to the customer on-site.
* Interface with the customer as well as design/product engineering teams for maintenance and technical support.
* Maintenance technical inspection against assessed scope, fault finding and troubleshooting.
* Manage failure investigations and customer feedback of findings.
* Develop, review and improve technical maintenance plans and other supporting documentation.
* Perform RCA of defects following release to service.
* Raise equipment non-conformance reports and provide assessments.
* Review Condition Monitoring data for faults/conditions requiring intervention.
