Overview
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function during a significant growth and transformation phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, overseeing all financial operations, and guiding a finance team that is in the early stages of establishment and development. This role requires a capable and resilient CFO with a proven track record as a CFO or Senior Finance Executive, a CA/CPA qualification, and experience in leading and developing finance teams through change.
Responsibilities
* Drive strategic financial leadership and oversee all financial operations.
* Guide and develop the finance team through growth and change.
* Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, and controls.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
* Contribute to organizational planning and long-term financial strategy.
* Support financial governance and risk management activities.
Qualifications
* CA/CPA qualification and experience as a CFO or Senior Finance Executive.
* Experience leading and developing finance teams through change.
* Ability to operate in growth or structurally changing environments with strong commercial and analytical judgment.
* Adaptability, agility, and comfort working in areas of ambiguity; high emotional intelligence.
* Experience in both commercial and not-for-profit environments; preference for not-for-profit sector background.
* Travel: Less than 10%.
The role is pivotal in contributing to organizational planning, long-term financial strategy, and governance and risk management activities; the ideal candidate will influence organizational direction and support the CEO during this growth phase.
