Your role will also be well supported across our business, with skilled resources and exposure in other sections. You will have the opportunity to:Foster and maintain relationships from proposal preparation to managing financial and technical aspects of delivering small to large scale projectsUndertake and manage geotechnical investigation and design projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis and reportingSupport the delivery of dam surveillance, safety inspections, risk assessments, and development of safety management systemsUse your interpretation and design skills to contribute to geotechnical projects predominantly in the energy transition, mining industry and transport industryWork closely with the multidisciplinary team throughout project deliveryDrive business development through successful delivery of your projectsPromote a safe working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazardsAbout YouWSP encourages and supports ongoing personal and professional development. To be successful in these positions, it is anticipated that you will possess the following qualifications / requirements:A Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology degree - Postgraduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourablyMust have experience in geotechnical engineering/engineering geology (local experience preferred)Experience and passion for tailings storage facility and water dam managementA successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projectsTrack record of promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering to create value for clients and their projectsDemonstrated experience in the preparation / review of written technical reports and client communicationsDemonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interactionA strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentAbility to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in multidisciplinary environmentNatural talent in promoting a safe working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazardsIn addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:Natural connectorProblem solver with a powerful team spiritOpenCuriousPassionateAdaptableSomeone ready to do the kind of work the world needsThink this could be the opportunity for you?
