Our role is to provide training to unemployed participants to improve their ability to find sustainable employment.
We deliver structured, targeted accredited and non-accredited vocational training programs both virtually and face-to-face.Focus on delivering non-accredited 'Employability Skills Training' courses to job seekers to enhance their job-hunting skills.Complete administrative tasks associated with the position.Work closely with Employment Consultants and Recruiters to identify skills gaps and provide feedback on job seeker progress to support employment outcomes.Work within the Hunter Region at various sites as required, so travel within this region will be necessary.About YouExperience in delivering quality accredited industry-based training in one or more of the following packages: Retail, Business, Community Services, or Hospitality.Experience delivering both face-to-face and virtual classroom sessions using MS Teams or similar platforms.Experience in delivering employability skills training covering resumes, interview skills, internet job search, etc.Strong knowledge of the ASQA Framework and Standards for RTOs.Content development and validation experience is advantageous.Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse backgrounds.Experience supporting disadvantaged learners, particularly long-term unemployed.Proficiency in Office 365 software.High resilience, time management, and computer skills.Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher, and industry qualification in Retail, Business, Community Services, or Hospitality.Valid driver's license for work-based travel within the region.What We OfferAttractive salary and NFP salary packaging benefits ($15,900 tax-free + meal & entertainment benefits).Work-life balance options, including a 9-day fortnight or accrued day off every 4 weeks.Discounted memberships, health insurance, retail discounts, and more.Generous leave benefits, including purchase leave, paid parental leave, and paid leave for Salvos support.Access to EAP and wellness initiatives.Long-term employment opportunities within EPlus and the wider Salvos network.Comprehensive on-the-job training.If you are passionate and driven to succeed in this rewarding role, please submit your CV and cover letter explaining why you are the best fit.The Salvation Army is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an inclusive work environment and values diversity of all kinds.
