Heavy Tyre Technician Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Tyre Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilising their expertise in OTR tyre fitting to maintain high levels of productivity and safety.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for heavy vehicle maintenance to take their career to the next level. As a Heavy Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for performing tyre replacements, repairs, and maintenance on a range of machinery, including CAT 793F, CAT 789, CAT 785, CAT 994, CAT 992, Haulmax Service Truck, 18M, 24M, and CAT 854K.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform tyre replacements, repairs, and maintenance on heavy vehicles;
* Work effectively in a team environment to achieve high levels of productivity;
* Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism at all times;
* Contribute to the development and implementation of safe working practices within the team;
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in earthmover tyre fitting;
* A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR*****/ AUR*****);
* A valid HR driving licence;
* A high level of initiative and ability to work well under pressure;
* An understanding of the importance of safety and ability to adhere to site safety procedures;
* A high level of maturity, initiative, and ability to work well under pressure.
