Your new role
We're seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join the team at the Malaga site in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse group of users and support a wide range of IT platforms-from employee laptops to factory automation systems.
Contract length : 2-3 months
Location: Malaga
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2 IT support through various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and MS Teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when necessary.
* Manage user accounts, IT assets, and software installations.
* Set up hardware and install software while offering guidance to users.
* Collaborate with regional IT teams and service managers.
* Participate in project work and disaster recovery actions.
What you'll need to succeed
* Tertiary qualifications in Computing or a related field.
* ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
* Proven experience in Level 2 IT support.
* Strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Active Directory, Office365, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365.
* Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Intune, and Equitrac.
* Willingness to support during public holidays and weekends if required.
