Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals and enhance their daily living skills. As an Occupational Therapist at National Care Providers, you will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities and needs.
* Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to enhance clients' independence and quality of life.
* Provide therapeutic interventions to improve clients' daily living skills and mobility.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and holistic care.
* Educate clients and their families on strategies to promote wellbeing and prevent injury.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with AHPRA standards and company policies.
* Stay updated with best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Qualifications:
* Full AHPRA registration as an Speech Therapist.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy.
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical or community setting (not necessary).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and part of a team.
