Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Tasmania. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children and families, and we are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development of collaborative care partnerships with service providers, including primary health, child health, and parenting programs.
* Undertake assessments, care planning, and delivery of secondary-level mental health interventions to children and families, ensuring culturally appropriate services.
* Develop and support evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems.
* Contribute to data collection and review, participating in activities to improve client outcomes.
Duties:
* Deliver comprehensive clinical services through relevant assessment, recovery-focused case management, and other recovery or trauma-informed services.
* Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to other team members as required.
The successful applicant will be required to meet essential criteria, including registration with the relevant National Board, Working with Children Registration, and a current Driver's Licence.
Desirable criteria include postgraduate qualification or experience in an area relevant to the role.
