The Quantity Surveyor will manage all costs related to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures, responsible for estimating and monitoring project costs, ensuring value for money, preparing tender documents, conducting cost analysis, and managing all financial aspects of the project with a focus on minimising project costs and enhancing value.
This role will be based onsite in Cloncurry which offers FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville or DIDO locally, with local candidates highly regarded. Our roster is 14 days on, 7 days off. With commencement in our Brisbane office for training and initial integration into the project team.

In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is constructing the Eva Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.
The Eva Copper Mine is a significant and strategically important project for Harmony marking a major milestone in the company's copper growth strategy and its long-term commitment to Northwest Queensland. The mine will have a minimum life of 15 years and will involve mining multiple open cut pits providing copper bearing ore to a concentrator. Front-end engineering design is complete, and mine construction is expected to take up to 30 months with first production targeted for the second half of the 2028 calendar year.
