About the Role :
Reporting to the Team Leader, ICT Operations (WA) – you will be responsible for providing timely and efficient day to day IT support and solutions to various internal stakeholders as one of our onsite IT support officers.
Showcase your experience in IT as our newest Operations Officer (Senior Helpdesk) as you will play an important role in assisting the team meet increasing demands for ICT support. Your previous work experience in a similar Helpdesk environment is highly advantageous, together with strong customer service skills, clear communication skills.
An essential requirement for this role is that there is an ON-CALL roster (for 1 week) on rotation every 4-6 weeks where you will need to be available from 6pm until 6am whilst ON-CALL.
Responsibilities
Install, configure computer hardware, software, systems, servers, networks, printers and scanners
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Respond in timely manner to all service issue requests
Provide technical assistance support in person or over the phone
Onboarding new starter IT requests
Terminating user management via the internal offboarding process
IT Asset Management
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Testing new technology and training users
Performing Helpdesk and IT based tasks
Provide on the job training as required
Have a strong commitment to safe work environment and continuous improvement
Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Exceptional customer service outlook
Significant technical knowledge within a previous Helpdesk role
Essential Requirements :
Degree qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent
Current driver's licence (C class minimum)
Desirable Requirements :
Degree qualifications in engineering or systems administration
ITIL qualifications
