About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Service Deli Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the service deli department, including managing staff, implementing sales strategies, and driving customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with the Service Deli Manager to develop and implement business plans, set targets, and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and coaching the service deli team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
* Implementing sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue growth
* Maintaining high standards of customer service and store appearance
* Controlling costs and optimizing inventory levels

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred, but not essential
* Ability to supervise a team and manage staff performance
* An understanding of ordering, cost control, and gross profit management
* A flair for merchandising and visual presentation
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with team members and management
