About The Role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - QLD, this full-time, home-based role in Rockhampton / Mackay / Emerald focuses on driving revenue and business development within the mining sector. In addition, you will:
Drive specification development and conversion within the assigned territory, managing spend within the approved expense budgetGrow and develop mining market opportunities, strengthening Victaulic’s presence and pipelineBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, designers, specifiers, and buyersProvide technical and commercial support to customers, including product selection, service, problem resolution, and value creationTranslate budget and revenue targets into actionable territory plans, activities, and prioritiesMaximise territory performance through effective planning, scheduling, and coverage managementSupport training and promotional activities for specifiers, distributors, and contractorsMaintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly territory reports, and prepare annual budgets and monthly sales forecasts
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Proven track record managing technical sales within the mining environmentsPiping systems experience will be an advantage but is not mandatoryDemonstrated experience undertaking site visits and engaging with owners, engineers, and contractorsStrong understanding of mining project workflows, MRO budgets, and shutdown planning cyclesSelf-motivated and ability to work autonomouslyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to challengesExcellent stakeholder management and presentation skillsSolution-oriented and high analytical and organizational skills.A valid Australian Driver’s license and willing to travel as required.Located either in Rockhampton, Emerald, or Mackay
