The Role
Maintain and repair a range of manufacturing equipment
Support and champion safe work practices
Assist with maintenance budgeting
Carry out time-critical breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance
Plan maintenance activities to support production goals and reduce downtime
Experience with computer-based maintenance systems is highly regarded.
About You
A mechanical trade qualification (essential) and relevant tickets
Knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation
Experience with production / maintenance KPIs and preventative maintenance programs
Confident computing skills; experience with Microsoft Office, Guardian, or D365 is an advantage
Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Over 2 years of industry experience, ideally within manufacturing or maintenance teams
A current valid driver's licence and forklift licence (HRW)
A BI boiler licence (advantageous but not essential)
Previous experience supporting an Apprentice to learn the craft (advantageous but not essential)
