Purpose of the role: The Communications Officer is responsible for delivering internal and external communications across digital channels, sites and stakeholder groups. The role plays a key part in producing timely, relevant and purpose-driven content to ensure the right information reaches the right audiences at the right time. Role Responsibilities: Support the Communications and Marketing function in delivering the communications strategy and operational plan Monitor, evaluate and report on engagement across communication channels, adapting content and approach based on performance Manage and maintain a digital content calendar to ensure consistent and planned social media activity Assist with the creation of visual communications, including posters and printed materials Support teams in coordinating events and community or stakeholder outreach activities Maintain website and intranet content to ensure information is accurate and up to date Support internal communications by assisting with staff engagement initiatives and organisational updates Prepare and distribute electronic direct mail (EDMs) and other digital communications Requirements/Key Skills: Experience creating engaging, purpose-driven content across social media, websites and intranet platforms Experience working with a range of communications formats (e.g. video, graphic design, newsletters, briefs, social media), or ability to quickly develop these skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and timely written communications Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Ability to work independently with initiative, enthusiasm, resilience and a positive approach Desirable: Experience in professional video editing Sound interesting?
