HSIE Teacher Opportunity
This is a full-time position, with an immediate start or negotiable commencement date.
* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated HSIE Teacher to join our Senior School Team in the HSIE Department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering student engagement, critical thinking, and a love for learning across the key HSIE subjects.

About The Role
As a member of the HSIE Department, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and delivering engaging lessons in junior Geography, History, Commerce, and Business Studies for Years 7-12.
* Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills through active learning and real-world applications.
* Promoting student engagement by making history, geography, and business topics relevant to contemporary issues.
* Supporting the intellectual and personal growth of students while fostering a love for learning within the HSIE curriculum.
* Collaborating with other department members to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
* Contributing to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students, creating a supportive learning environment.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* A strong passion for HSIE subjects and a commitment to engaging students through dynamic and inclusive teaching methods.
* Experience in teaching junior Geography, History, Commerce, and Business Studies (Years 7-12), with a deep understanding of the NESA syllabus.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Current NESA registration (or ability to obtain).
* A team-oriented approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
