The Retail Liquor Specialists Group is an Australian Company who own and operate multiple liquor stores across NSW and ACT. This family owned company is now expanding its business operations further, to include an IGA supermarket and liquor store, at a green field site, based at Windmill Hill, Tamworth NSW.

The Tamworth expansion program has created the opportunity for an experienced Supermarket Store Manager, to join the team on approx. 2 March 2026.
Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations & Buying (HROB), the role of the Supermarket Store Manager is responsible for: 1) the efficient day to day running of the supermarket store; 2) team leadership and effective rostering; 3) providing direction and coaching to department managers; as such has responsibility to:
a) Lead department managers and staff to achieve kpis
b) Manage department managers to ensure the delivery of a high level of customer service and store presentation
c) Maximise the profitability and viability of the store/s
d) Manage and ensure that all WHS standards are maintained in each store

Essential Selection Criteria
1) Minimum 2 years previous supermarket management experience
2) Diploma or Certificate IV in Business or Management or Leadership or equivalent
3) Demonstrated ability to lead a team of people to achieve goals
4) Experience in sustainably managing rosters and wages
5) Effective written and oral communication skills
6) Proven ability to coach staff 'on the job'
7) Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
8) Intermediate computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet)
9) Responsible Service of Alcohol Qualification
10) Police Clearance, current within 3 months
11) Ability to lift medium to heavy weights for period of time
