Drive Business Growth as a Commercial Lending Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and drive business growth in commercial lending. As a Commercial Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for originating new business relationships and expanding existing ones.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the commercial loan pipeline to meet service level agreements and adjusting priorities as needed;
* Presetting, packaging, and submitting lending applications accurately and compliantly;
* Driving process improvements to enhance broker and customer experience;
* SUPPORTING risk management, compliance, audit, and quality standards across all activities.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional results. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in retail banking or financial services, ideally in commercial lending, who can bring their expertise to this role.
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in retail banking or financial services, ideally in commercial lending;
* Exceptional credit assessment skills and understanding of commercial lending processes;
* Proven ability to lead and implement change initiatives effectively;
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail;
* Tertiary qualifications and experience with complex business structures are a plus.
