Our panels bear loads up to 120 tons, withstand Category 5 hurricanes, provide 4‐hour fire resistance, and reduce carbon emissions by 14% and energy consumption by 40%. Products span the full construction spectrum: Xpanel (3D panels), Xprecast, Xcast, Xmodular, Xwalls (GAIA Award winner), Xtools, and X8 Tech advanced machinery.
We are now launching Xpanel Australia to bring this technology to the Australian market – and we are looking for a CEO to lead the charge.
Opportunity
Australia faces a well‐documented housing supply crisis, with targets of 1.2 million new homes over five years and an urgent need for faster, more affordable construction methods. Xpanel's technology is purpose‐built for this moment.
As CEO of Xpanel Australia, you will establish and scale our Australian operations from the ground up. You will own the P&L, build the team, develop key relationships with builders, developers, government, and architects, and position Xpanel as the construction system of choice for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Australia.
What You'll Do
* Launch and lead the Australian entity – from incorporation and facility set‐up to first revenue and beyond
* Develop the go‐to‐market strategy across residential, commercial, and social/affordable housing sectors
* Build and manage relationships with Tier 1 and 2 builders, developers, architects, and government agencies (federal, state, local)
* Drive adoption of Xpanel's Pay Per Use (PPU) and Zero Rent programmes with Australian construction firms
* Establish supply chain and manufacturing capability, including potential local panel production
* Recruit and lead a high‐performing team across business development, operations, and technical delivery
* Navigate regulatory and compliance requirements including NCC/BCA, AS standards, and state‐level building approvals
* Represent Xpanel at industry events, conferences, and in media – be the face of the brand in Australia
* Report to global leadership and collaborate closely with Xpanel's international team on technology transfer, training, and product localisation
* Identify and execute strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and early anchor projects
Who You Are
* 10+ years in senior leadership within construction, building products, property development, or construction technology
* Deep understanding of the Australian construction industry – regulatory environment, key players, procurement models, and market dynamics
* Proven track record of launching or scaling a business, division, or market entry (start‐up or corporate)
* Strong commercial acumen – P&L ownership, contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and capital planning
* Established network across builders, developers, architects, consultants, or government in Australia
* Experience with innovative construction methods – prefab, modular, panelised, precast, or similar systems highly valued
* Understanding of Australian building codes (NCC, BCA) and certification pathways for new construction products
* Entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable building from zero, making decisions with imperfect information, and moving fast
* Excellent communicator who can sell a vision to customers, partners, investors, and government stakeholders alike
Bonus Points
* Experience in affordable or social housing delivery
* Relationships with state housing authorities or infrastructure bodies
* Background in construction robotics, automation, or industrialised building
* International business experience, particularly with European or Middle Eastern partners
* Familiarity with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic infrastructure pipeline
