About the Opportunity:

This role involves attending a comprehensive training program and working in a supportive environment.
Once appointed, you will spend most of your time inspecting workplaces across various industries.
You will assess compliance with legislative requirements and take appropriate action, which may range from providing advice to enforcing compliance measures.
About You:
* You should have a systems-thinking approach through experience and/or application.
* You must possess critical thinking, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* You need to be able to assess and investigate situations efficiently to make timely decisions.
* You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, interpret, and apply legislation or technical standards.
* You must be proficient in computer systems and technology.
* A qualification in OHS or relevant industry/safety experience would be desirable but not essential.

Eligibility Requirements:
* Applicants must hold a valid, unrestricted Victorian Driver's Licence.
* Applicants must ensure their availability for all recruitment activities and induction training dates.
* Successful applicants will also be required to enrol in a Diploma of Government.
* Preferred candidates must successfully complete a National Criminal History Check and Reference Checks.
* Eligibility for ongoing employment requires Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
