Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented WHS Advisor to join our corporate team. As a WHS Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's overall function of workplace health and safety, including psychosocial safety, in accordance with relevant legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include analyzing and reporting on WHS data to identify trends and corrective actions, developing initiatives to maintain a safe workplace using best practice principles and adhering to compliance requirements, and reviewing incidents and providing guidance to leaders on corrective actions.
You will also be responsible for developing programs to maintain a psychologically safe workplace across the organization's footprint, supporting the development and reviewing of policies and procedures relating to WHS legislation, regulations, and standards, and writing monthly safety reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
About You:
* Hold a Cert IV WHS (minimum) or be willing to obtain it.
* Have a strong working knowledge of safety management systems, legislation, and regulations, including psychosocial safety.
* Understand NDIS HSQF National Mental Health Child Safety or Aged Care quality and practice standards (highly desirable).
* Have experience in managing WorkCover claims.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Be committed to best practice.
