Registered Nurse - Cardiology Outpatient Care

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient setting, using clinical expertise to deliver patient-focused care.

As a Registered Nurse – Cardiology Outpatient Care, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
\
The key responsibilities of this role include:
\

1. Working closely with cardiologists, cardiac sonographers, technicians, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated care.
\
2. Supporting cardiologists and patients during cardiac testing procedures such as CT Coronary Angiograms and stress echocardiograms (dobutamine and exercise).
\
3. Monitoring patients during procedures, recognizing and managing any adverse reactions promptly.
\
4. Supervising stress echocardiograms alongside a multidisciplinary team. This includes dynamic ECG monitoring and clinical management of adverse events.
\
5. Delivering high-quality, protocol-driven care working alongside our cardiologists in structured outpatient clinics.
\
6. Educating and supporting patients before, during, and after procedures to improve health literacy and outcomes.
\
7. Managing patient data collection, validation, and documentation via electronic medical records.
\
8. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective care delivery.
\
9. Providing exceptional patient care, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.
\
10. Participating in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
\
11. Fostering a positive and supportive team environment, contributing to a culture of collaboration and respect.

12. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality patient care and safety.

13. Engaging in regular quality improvement activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that benefit patients and the organization.

14. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and the community to ensure comprehensive care and support.

15. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
\
16. Complying with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies to ensure safe and effective practice.

17. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiology and nursing practice to provide evidence-based care.
