Program Manager – Digital & Cyber Programs (Contract)
The role An experienced Program Manager is required to lead the delivery of complex digital and cyber security initiatives within a high-governance, enterprise environment. This role will manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing strategic outcomes with day-to-day delivery while navigating competing priorities and dependencies.
You will be responsible for end-to-end program delivery, including business case development, procurement, planning, vendor management and benefits realisation. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll ensure initiatives are delivered to agreed outcomes while contributing to continuous improvement across delivery practices.
This role suits a confident program leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels, influence senior stakeholders, and maintain momentum across a diverse portfolio of work.
What you'll be doing
* Lead end-to-end delivery of complex digital and cyber programs, from initiation through to closure
* Develop and manage program and project artefacts including business cases, procurement documentation, delivery plans and schedules
* Establish and maintain strong governance, assurance, risk and issue management arrangements
* Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver outcomes on time and to budget
* Manage program finances, resourcing, dependencies and benefits realisation
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple organisations
* Provide high-quality reporting, briefings and advice to governance forums and executives
* Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices
About you You're an experienced Program Manager with a strong track record delivering digital or cyber transformation initiatives in complex environments. You're comfortable managing ambiguity, engaging senior stakeholders, and leading vendors and delivery teams to achieve outcomes.
You'll bring:
* Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently within a program environment
* Demonstrated delivery of digital, ICT or cyber security initiatives
* Strong governance, risk, financial and vendor management capability
* High-level stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
* Strategic thinking combined with a practical, delivery-focused mindset
Experience working in highly regulated or public-sector environments is advantageous, as is formal qualification or certification in program or project management.
