Our dedicated national team of skilled technicians plays an important and essential role in our business. We are currently seeking Access Equipment Technicians.
As a technician, you will deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support our customers every day. This hands-on role requires performing all types of service requirements on various forklift equipment.
You will work from our state-of-the-art workshop facility, enjoying the variety of the job that ensures your day is never the same. One day may involve performing preventative maintenance or minor repairs, followed by another day where you could be performing a challenging overhaul.
You will report to the Service Manager and appreciate working with a great team of people at our Cairns branch who are there to support you.
Key Responsibilities
The key focus of this role involves the maintenance servicing of forklift and access equipment. This includes:
* Planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections,
* New machine builds,
* Modifications
Qualifications / Experience
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
* An automotive mechanic trade background,
* Be a team player,
* Be able to work with minimal supervision,
* Good customer service relationships,
* Must be reliable and punctual.
* Electrical and hydraulic experience is highly regarded.
