The Role
As a Plumbing Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing plumbing projects, ensuring smooth workflow from start to finish. You will collaborate with our team of certified plumbers, office staff, and clients to deliver top-quality service on time and within budget. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule plumbing projects, liaising with clients, suppliers, and the plumbing team
- Track project progress and timelines to ensure all work is completed efficiently and within scope
- Manage project budgets and prepare progress reports for management
- Ensure that all work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements
- Act as the point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Assist in procurement of materials and maintaining inventory control
- Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving
- Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies across project workflows
Requirements
- Experience in project coordination, ideally within the plumbing, construction, or related industries
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and/or relevant experience in a trade environment is a plus
- Proficiency in project management software or scheduling tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
