About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Marketing Manager with 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in hospitality, QSR, retail, or consumer brands.
This is a full-stack role: strategy, execution, content, partnerships, digital, analytics, and brand building.
You will be responsible for:
* Growing the Shujinko brand across Melbourne
* Driving store foot traffic and online orders
* Managing social media, influencer marketing, and content creation
* Launching campaigns that tie together events, promotions, collaborations, and new store openings
* Using AI tools to speed up content production (video, copy, research, design)
* Being the voice of the brand across all channels

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategy
* Develop a cohesive brand strategy for Shujinko across all 6 stores.
* Lead brand positioning, storytelling, and voice across every customer touchpoint.
* Identify and execute growth opportunities in the Melbourne food/hospitality market.
Digital Marketing
* Own all digital channels: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google, website.
* Plan and execute paid digital campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok).
* Manage content calendars and weekly posting schedules.
* Build out AI-driven content workflows (e.g., video editing, design prompts, social copy).
Content Creation & Social Media
* Create high-quality short-form content (reels, TikToks, stories, promos).
* Attend store events, menu shoots, and brand activations to capture content.
* Work with creators and influencers to expand reach.
* Manage community engagement and customer messaging.
Influencer & Collaboration Management
* Identify and negotiate partnerships with influencers, food bloggers, and lifestyle creators.
* Track performance and ROI of influencer campaigns.
* Create authentic and hype-driven partnerships that match the Shujinko culture.
Campaigns & Events
* Plan seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.
* Own end-to-end execution: creative, logistics, digital marketing, in-store rollout.
* Coordinate new store opening campaigns and press buzz.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track marketing KPIs across digital ads, organic performance, and campaign ROI.
* Produce monthly marketing reports for leadership.
* Use data to refine strategies and increase customer engagement.

What You'll Bring
Required
* 3+ years experience in marketing (hospitality/QSR/retail preferred)
* Proven ability to grow social media channels and build engagement
* Strong experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, CapCut AI, etc.)
* Skilled in short-form video creation, editing, and storytelling
* Experience managing influencers and creators
* Ability to work independently and own whole campaigns
* Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Have
* Experience in franchise or multi-store brands
* Graphic design or photography skills
* Experience with CRM, EDMs, and loyalty marketing
* Understanding of food culture and Melbourne social trends
