Job Title: Digital Asset Management Coordinator
Are you a skilled professional seeking a challenging role in digital asset management? Do you have experience in managing complex databases and systems?
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the National Museum of Australia's Collection Information Systems team, responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing administrative oversight of the DAMS, ensuring connectivity and alignment of DAMS software and data with the content management system, Collection Management System, and integrations with other systems.
* Maintaining technical knowledge of DAMS and other relevant systems development to enable effective operation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Developing and keeping updated system and related documentation, including user guidelines and training material.
* Collaborating with the CS Support Officer to plan, manage, and deliver user training, provide input to projects, and provide helpdesk support to users.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the management of DAMS, Media Asset Management Systems or similar databases and software systems. They will also possess demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, together with strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
