Claims Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and empathetic claims management service to our clients. This includes determining entitlements, scheduling appointments, conducting regular contacts and reviews, and processing benefits/payments in accordance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners and others for all matters regarding a workplace injury claim.
* Drive the return-to-work process through proactive claims management, including identifying barriers and developing measures to address them.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Eligibility Officers, Return-to-Work Specialists, Injury Management Consultants and Mental Health Consultants.
* Provide education to stakeholders regarding return-to-work processes and legislative obligations.
* Participate in regular claims reviews with key stakeholders.
* Request and obtain information to assist with ongoing claim management.
* Undertake compliance-related tasks such as accurate data entry and attaching documentation to the claims management system.
Requirements:

* Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization and with a varied set of stakeholders.
