NBMLHD – Visiting Medical Officer - Diagnostic Radiology
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer in Diagnostic Radiology for up to 2000 hours per annum in the Department of Medical Imaging at Nepean Hospital and Blue Mountains Anzac Memorial District Hospital.
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be expected to perform clinical duties including routine reporting of plain films, performance of fluoroscopic examinations, supervision of sonographic, computed tomography, and MRI reporting. Interventional Radiology (Tier A) skills would be advantageous.
Requirements:
- Possess or be eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) and/or equivalent specialist recognition
- Sound clinical knowledge in Diagnostic Radiology demonstrated through successful clinical practice
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team
Conditions of Appointment:
Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Health Services Act 1997, and Public Hospitals (Visiting Medical Officers Sessional Contracts) Determination 2014. Employees and Contractors must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
