About the role:
As Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth scheduling and coordination of production activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure parts arrive on time for assembly.
2. Order and manage stock for the workshop.
3. Produce clear and realistic work schedules.
4. Organise logistics and transport of parts and equipment.
5. Quote jobs as required.
6. Work closely with workshop and supervisors to track the progress of jobs.
About You:
* Previous experience in production planning would be advantageous.
* Machinist trade background would be highly regarded.
* High proficiency in MS Office is essential.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.
* Ability to work independently, adapt, and learn quickly.
* Full working rights for Australia.
* Strong background in collaboration and effective stakeholder coordination.
