 
        
        OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Payroll officer to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll, statutory obligations, reconciliations, reporting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, employment legislation, and proficiency in accounting systems.You Will Be Responsible ForProcess end to end payrollManage PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation and other statutory obligationsInterpret and apply Modern Awards, and employment contractsPrepare and assist with statutory compliance requirements BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax and WorkcoverAssist sales invoicing and procurementMonthly reconciliations and analysisExamining the proficiency of the system used to organise dataAssist with preparation of Budgets and forecastsPreparation of weekly operational reportsRespond to payroll enquires with professionalism mannerAbout YouCPA certificate (or working towards) is highly desirable3-5 years accounting experienceExcel Skill (intermediate to advance level)Experience with Xero and Astute is desirableGood Problem-Solving skills and critical thinkingStrong attention to details with a high level of accuracyProactive, results-driven and able to drive efficiencyIf you are interested in applying for the position, then please put forward your resume or call (07) 3860 4747.
