Maintenance Manager Role Description
The Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of aircraft maintenance services.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Oversee the performance of maintenance and related services by Line and Base Maintenance technicians.
o Ensure that their work meets technical quality standards.
o Plan, recommend, and administer staffing, equipment, and facility resources for Line and Base Maintenance, Avionics, and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
o Responsible for overall operating efficiencies of the maintenance department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
* Experience:
o Minimum 8 years of relative aviation experience, preferably in an aftermarket repair/maintenance environment.
* Skills:
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate to achieve desired goals and results.
o Ability to identify and maintain confidentiality when necessary.
o Strong work ethic and sense of urgency, with the ability to manage competing demands and frequent changes in the work environment.
* Licenses/Certifications:
o CAAS and/or A&P license highly preferred.
o Pilot's license preferred.

Summary
