As a speech language pathologist, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based services to individuals with disabilities. The role involves assessing and providing interventions for children and adults with various needs, working within the NDIS framework, assisting clients with assistive technology, timely documentation, managing a diverse caseload, meeting professional expectations, building relationships, and utilizing leading software platforms.
The Role
* Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilities
* Working within the NDIS to maximise clients' level of function, capacity & social engagement
* Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations and applications (in relevant fields)
* Timely documentation & report writing
* Managing a varied caseload
* Meeting professional expectations (e.g. effective client management)
* Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, & referral sources
* Utilizing leading software platforms & online tools
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field
* Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g. AHPRA/SPA)
* Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Police Check & International Police Check (for those who have lived overseas)
* Driver's license & access to a reliable vehicle
* Car insurance
