About the Role:
MAMAS Dining Group is looking for a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and execution of innovative hospitality spaces, working with one of Melbourne's leading restaurant groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to develop creative and functional interior designs.
* Produce 2D and 3D renderings using CAD and related software.
* Assist in concept development, including mood boards, layouts, and material selection.
* Ensure designs align with brand guidelines, aesthetic standards, and project deadlines.
* Source products, materials, and finishes that enhance the overall design.
* Manage budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
* Oversee project facilitation, coordinating with external stakeholders to ensure timelines are met.
Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in CAD and 2D/3D rendering software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit).
* Strong experience in mood board creation and design development.
* A proven portfolio showcasing interior design work, ideally within the hospitality sector.
* Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and technologies.
* Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
