Emmetts is looking for a dynamic Group Sales Manager to support and elevate sales performance across our multi‐branch network. If you're a tactical, hands‐on sales leader with strong machinery or equipment sales experience, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you'll partner closely with Branch and Territory Managers to build sales results and speed to market, promote and drive deal conversion, and strengthen customer engagement.
A key aspect of the role involves assisting in valuing trade‐ins and used machinery to ensure accurate pricing.
You will also work collaboratively with the Group Inventory Controller to align sales strategies with stock availability and trade‐in requirements.
What You'll Do
* Support sales teams across all branches to drive new & used machinery sales
* Lead a consistent Group‐wide sales process, including CRM discipline
* Provide guidance on trade‐in values and deal structures
* Monitor competitive activity & report on market insights
* Build strong relationships with John Deere and key suppliers
* Attend field days, trade shows, and customer events
* Join sales staff on‐farm to support customer qualification & deal conversion (when required)
What You Bring
* Demonstrated success and experience in machinery, agricultural, automotive, or equipment sales
* Decisive action orientated approach
* Flexibility and ability to deal with competing priorities
* Ability to identify growth opportunities and support sales teams
* Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence at all levels – from Representatives and customers to industry leaders.
* Willingness to travel across the branch network
