Poseidon Adventurers Pty Ltd is a leading Jet Ski Tour and Hire operator in Townsville, delivering premium jet ski tours and hire experiences to locals and visitors alike. We pride ourselves on exceptional guest service, safety, and memorable adventures — and we're now seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on Site Manager to lead daily operations and help take our business to the next level.
The Role
This is not a desk job — it's a leadership position for someone who thrives on the water and has a passion for tourism. The Site Manager will:
* Tour Operations – Lead and guide jet ski eco-tours to a high standard, ensuring guest safety, enjoyment, and memorable experiences.
* Guest Experience – Deliver exceptional customer service with a strong focus on sustainability, local culture, and the environment.
* Local Knowledge – Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the region's waterways, weather patterns, tides, and points of interest to operate tours safely and confidently.
* Safety & Compliance – Uphold all safety protocols, ensure compliance with maritime regulations, and maintain all required records.
* Team Leadership – Supervise, train, and roster staff, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer care.
* Business Administration – Manage daily bookings, scheduling, correspondence, reporting, and general business administration tasks.
* Equipment & Fleet Management – Conduct maintenance to equipment following maintenance schedules, ensuring jet skis and equipment are operational.
* Sustainability Focus – Implement and promote environmentally responsible practices in all aspects of operations.
* Growth & Marketing Support – Assist in driving business growth through local partnerships, community engagement, and promotional activities.
* Flexibility & Adaptability – Adjust plans and operations to weather, tides, and guest needs while maintaining high safety and service standards.
* Qualifications – Must hold a RMDL and PWCL at minimum. Will need to obtain coxswain in the near future.

* Coxswain certificate will be required in the future.
* Provide First Aid certificate.
* Minimum RMDL and PWCL licence
* Experience in marine tourism, adventure tourism, or boating operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
