We are seeking a highly skilled Autonomous Systems Specialist
This role involves hands-on involvement with the deployment, validation, and enhancement of autonomous surface vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deployment and Validation
* The selected candidate will be responsible for deploying, validating, and enhancing autonomous surface vessels in accordance with established standards and protocols.
* Safety and Efficiency
* The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance vessel safety and efficiency.
* Technical Expertise
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of autonomous systems architecture, networking protocols, and sensor integration are required for this role.
Requirements:
* Qualifications
* A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or robotics is required.
* Experience
* At least one year of experience in a related field, preferably with hands-on experience with autonomous systems.

Physical Demands:
* Frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Will be exposed to marine environments, including sun, wind, rain, cold, and saltwater spray, often for extended periods.
* Ability to operate in daylight, low-light, and night conditions using marine navigation systems and visual cues.
* Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day.
Working Conditions:
* Must be able to certify as 'fit for work' by demonstrating ability to swim and tread water.
* Will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with frequent changes in weather and sea conditions.
