Quality Engineering Manager Role Overview
This senior leadership position oversees the development and implementation of quality engineering initiatives, driving agility, accelerating test automation adoption, and unlocking efficiencies.
The Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for supporting the quality engineering outcomes of ongoing projects within a group of business units/platforms. They will design, plan, implement, and release relevant quality engineering enablement capabilities across projects, programs, and agile squads.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategies to enhance quality engineering capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, leveraging expertise in manual and automated testing, as well as experience with Appium.
* Lead and manage teams, focusing on people management, vendor partnership, and stakeholder relationship management.
* Drive the launch of high-quality and business-critical products in complex enterprise production environments.
About You and Your Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* Extensive experience in automation, development, and testing fields, with at least 15 years of industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of native iOS and Android mobile app development and testing in agile environments.
* Demonstrated ability to implement technical solutions in large-scale, complex, and distributed environments.
* Proven track record in people management, team building, and leadership.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade outcomes/direction.
