PhD Opportunity in Cancer Biology and Machine Learning
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team and contribute to the development of innovative machine learning approaches for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
About the Project
The successful applicant will work on a cutting-edge project focused on understanding complex materials systems at the molecular level using spatial and spectral information. The project involves developing multiple instance learning and weak supervision/spatial transcriptomics models to individualise tumour type, associated biomarkers and genomic characteristics with high precision.
The resulting multipurpose machine learning workflows will enable rapid precision diagnoses and effective individualized cancer care plans. Coding and user interface development skills will be developed through this project.
